1990 german monetary union

In Germany the monetary union is implemented with sizeable fuss: East German money can be exchanged at bank counters for West marks. Koni Nordmann is on location in Halle an der Saale for the German COMMERZBANK corporate report. Besides the actual commission, he portraits people leaving the bank with the new money and lets them speak. The COMMERZBANK uses the spontaneously created portrait series for an billboard campaign.
