2008 exhibition «victims of torture»

"Mit der schwierigen Erinnerung in der sicheren Fremde" is a project by journalist Martina Kamm and photographer Meinrad Schade. It portraits torture victims who survived and live today in Switzerland. In order to present this sensitive work appropriately, curator Koni Nordmann decides to frame and hang the images in the style of private family photos. Parallel to the exhibition, KONTRAST produces the exhibition catalogue as newspaper.
